Somerset Sidequests started with a simple itch: there's a lot to do round here, and it's better with company. Hills to climb, harbours to wander, lidos to dip in, country pubs to find. We just needed an excuse — and a few friendly faces.

What's a sidequest?

A sidequest is the small, optional adventure you say yes to. A Tuesday-evening walk. A Sunday-morning swim. A spontaneous trip to a place you've driven past a hundred times. Low stakes, low pressure, high return.

Who's it for?

Anyone in or near Somerset and Bristol who wants to get outside more and meet good people doing it. Total beginners welcome. No kit required beyond a sense of humour and decent shoes.

How it works

Events get posted in the WhatsApp group. Reply if you're in. Show up. That's the whole system.
